Office Space Reception Area

Well we’ve got furniture coming in by the (UPS) truckload.

We’ve only just started unpacking and assembling things. I doubt everything will be in place by the 18th, but there should be enough for everyone to get the idea.

Our goal is to create an environment that can change quickly to suit our needs.

For instance, the big hall will serve as a common area most of the time. We’ll arrange the parsons tables to create one long row of workstations.

It’ll feature a lounge area where you’ll be able to grab some (free) coffee, pick up a book from our lending library, or chat with a colleague will relaxing at the cafe’-like tables & chairs.

We can easily rearrange the area so the workstations can serve as sitting desks for presentations / workshops with 20-30 people at a time. We have a huge screen and a 1400 Lumens projector. It’s perfect for sharing information with a large group of colleagues — or for one of our Wii tournament nights.

In addition to the big hall, we’ll have two semi-private offices. Semi-private offices will be for our full time members. They’ll have a dedicated workstation and be able give keys to access the doors as needed.

We also have lockers where you can store some of you goodies. You can bring your own combination lock or you can buy one of the many we’ll have on hand.

Our conference room is big enough for 6-7 people. It has a 32″ monitor you can plug into to give a presentation that will really impress you clients.

Speaking of large monitors – one of my favorite little features is the 37″ monitor that greets guests as they enter the facility. Most of the time it’ll flash messaging about upcoming events and such.

But if you’re holding a meeting with clients – we’ll swap out our logo info for yours so they know their in the right place. The receptionist will greet them, take them right into the conference room and come find you at your desk letting you know they’ve arrived.

We figure – if you look good, we look good.
